Introducing Sam Mukherjee

SAM MUKHERJEE is an experienced writer. At SKB Legal, he forms part of our team, bringing to us insightful and effective ways to assist our clients prepare their defence.

Be it deconstructing the prosecution evidence in a jargon free way or helping to identify points missed by most, Sam is adept at using it all to the client’s advantage. He is able to quickly and efficiently distill facts and take instructions from clients with empathy and understanding. A seasoned interviewer and equally proficient at penning long and short-form content, he prepares cases with meticulous detail. Sam knows his audience, speaks their language, and has written several documents and briefs for the firm.

Prior to joining SKB Legal, Sam was a journalist and a speechwriter for a Canadian Senator. He is also a novelist and very effective in dealing with high profile and media related matters.

Sam has a Higher Education Teaching Certificate from Harvard University’s Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning and has lectured in multiple institutions of excellence across four continents. He has an M.A. in History from Jadavpur University in India, a Diploma in Mass Communication with Distinction from Holmesglen Institute in Melbourne, Australia, and a Diploma in Writing for Film, TV and Interactive Media from Vancouver Film School, Canada on a Full-Time Writing Scholarship.

Sam’s interest in sports has drawn him into travelling around the world for important sporting events such as the Australian Open, the Olympics, and Formula One racing; and his love of flying has taken him on a Beech craft over Mt. Everest, on a seaplane in the Pacific Northwest, on a helicopter across the Australian Gold Coast, and parasailing in Thailand.
